Right, well finally my beta got around to working on the chapter. So now It's completely finished and posted hope you guys enjoy the 19th chapter of Working Sinnoh With Skill.

 I won't be working on it for a bit from here though. I'm working on one of my older story idea's that I've not posted before, and probably won't post until there's a good 5 or so chapters.

    i loved this chapter you posted the battle between charizard and dragonite was intense it was awesome keep up the great work its amazing. I had a question will you be showing pokemon from the unova region or kalos region in your story?

      Awesome i cant wait to see what you have in store for us in your stories are you currently watching the X and Y anime it is really good and Ash is actually serious and trying and he acts a bit more mature.

    Hey Jordan. I read chapter 19 and felt conflicted afterwards. On the one hand I liked your concept of Charizard, how you made him Ash's strongest, how graphic and satisfying you made the battle scenes. But on the other hand - like you said in your AN - it was a poorly written chapter. It's like you had this epic scene/idea in your head, and you puked it out onto your monitor in a manner of speaking, without polishing it up afterwards. Instead you left that up to your beta, who is in all honesty negligent if he couldn't spot the many spelling errors present. I mean really the third line of the story says 'same' instead of 'shame'. Easy to spot. And with polishing up I don't just mean spelling errors, as I think you know. I also think the reason you think it was a bad chapter is because you could've done a lot better with the idea you had in your head. I could be mistaken of course. But if there is a chance that it is like that, my advice to you would be to take your time with it next time. Take your time to polish it up. To analyse and be critical of your own work until you are satisfied! I for one wouldn't mind to wait for that story. Grtz

    Well, I wouldn't call him negligent. Some things are just hard to spot. Like with myself, I'm a very fast reader, I can read over 1 million words a day if I really put my mind to it. It's why I go through all the good fanfictions to quickly and have nothing good to read later.

    Some things, when you're a speedy reader are quite honestly easy to miss. Especially since it was the word same and shame are only 1 letter apart. And to go with being a speedy reader, I'm a fast writer aswell. In-fact I do my best work when my muse is raring to go because I can type out 10k words within a few hours. These last few chapters I've written, the past 5 to be exact this month. I've not really been in the mood for Pokemon, and thus my muse just isn't there for it.

    This latest chapter was my worst out of the 5 I've written this month for WSWS. I got to like 3.5k words and then I just couldn't be bothered at all writing anymore, and it ended up taking me another 2 weeks just to find the will to write the rest of the chapter.

    If anything, the quality of this chapter is my fault and has nothing to do with my beta Slicerness because he's really very good and helpful with my stories. The problem was, that without the muse and the wanting to write this last chapter, it came out worse than the others.

    It happens from time to time. So, sorry about that I'll try to keep the quality up to par as best I can even when I'm forcing myself to write.

      Ah I see. Well, that could explain a lot. But why force yourself? You don't owe anybody anything. It's a good quality as a person to feel bad about keeping people waiting, but here it's very hindering and misplaced I think. If you have and idea for a story in your head, why not write it down and type it out into a full story when you feel like it later? I don't know the proces you go through when you want to write a story but that's how I do it. The problem with me is that I don't actually come around to the writing bit :p

      I'm impatient as hell. I like to finish my chapters in one fell swoop instead of writing them over a period of days/weeks/months etc

    Have you still got the chapters of working sinnoh with skill Jordino? i loved reading it cause it's one of the few good 'ash screws his head on straight' fics on ff.net
